Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Minimum 10 years+ experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Use of JCT Design & Build Contracts is essential.
4. BSc in Quantity Surveying or a comparable qualification.
5. Previous roles: Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Project QS, Trainee Quantity Surveyor, or Quantity Surveyor.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying or a comparable qualification.
Salary: circa 70k basic plus a competitive package including car or allowance, healthcare, pension, etc.
Company & Project: A regional medium-sized Main Contractor with a busy pipeline of work across Norfolk, looking to grow their Commercial team due to new projects secured. The business operates across the Mixed-Use, Education, Commercial, and Healthcare sectors. The successful candidate will initially work on a project valued at approximately 9 million.
