We're hiring Kitchen Porters to join our team and help support the chefs and wait-staff. Working as part of the kitchen and food service team, the Kitchen Porters will assist in ensuring that the kitchen is clean, tidy and deliveries are stored correctly.
Experience in working in a catering environment is preferable although full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Key Duties:
* To assist the catering/catering team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness
* Have responsibility for all cleaning duties within the food operation
* Follow a cleaning schedule and carry out tasks as directed by Senior Chefs
* Work to an agreed standard of hygiene practice as contained in the Kitchen HACCP manual
* To put deliveries away and to ensure that they are transported to the appropriate storage equipment/area
* Operate equipment safely and to ensure it is in good working order
* Help ensure that all food items are stored under the correct conditions according to food type
* Flexibility with working hours is essential within this role
* Reliable, hardworking and have the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen alongside a friendly efficient team.
