As a Software Developer, you will report to the Lead Developer. As a Software Developer, you will report to the Lead Developer. Your role will involve developing high-quality software, ensuring that development stories are accurately built and tested according to established methodologies. You will contribute to our 3rd Line software development service desk, providing professional and timely solutions to service requests, as well as supporting customer testing for new initiatives.

Duties And Responsibilities
* Software Development: Collaborate with the development team to ensure software stories are developed and tested to a high standard, following the methodologies established by the Lead and Senior Developers.
* 3rd Line Support: Effectively handle and resolve 3rd Line software development service requests, providing solutions that meet the requirements and are delivered within set timelines.
* Mentorship: Assist Junior Developers in understanding core coding principles, testing practices, and development methodologies to foster their growth and success.
* Customer Testing Support: Provide support for customer testing, particularly for new customers or continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring a seamless experience and timely feedback.
Experience, Skills, And A Ttributes
* ITILv4 Knowledge: Grounded understanding of ITILv4 best practice concepts, ensuring that you align with industry standards in your approach to service management and support.
* Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, with hands-on experience in agile development environments.
* Full-Stack JavaScript Expertise: Proficient in TypeScript across the stack, with attention to testing and documentation for maintainable, high-quality code.
* Frontend Development: Hands-on experience with Angular v16+, delivering responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
* Backend Engineering: Skilled in building scalable APIs using Node.js and Express.js, with a focus on performance and maintainability.
* DevOps: Familiar with Docker for containerized application deployment, ensuring consistency across development and production environments.
* Cloud Services Integration: Practical experience with AWS services, event-driven architecture and scalable cloud infrastructure.
* Mobile Development: Experience with React Native and Expo is good to have, supporting rapid deployment of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
* Problem Solving: Proven track record of resolving complex issues and managing difficult situations, always maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
* Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards .
* Should be flexible and respond positively and accurately to internal and external customer requests.
* Excellent customer relationship skills with the ability to develop good working relationships at all levels.
* Able to travel across sites as required.
