About the Role We are hiring an experienced and analytically minded Marketing Specialist (Lifecycle / Email Marketing) to join our expanding in-house team. This role plays a key part in designing, managing, and optimising our customer lifecycle strategy, ensuring that prospects and customers receive relevant, timely, and effective communication across multiple channels. You will be responsible for developing sophisticated lifecycle journeys, driving lead and pipeline generation, enhancing customer engagement, and supporting long-term retention through personalised, data-led campaigns. Working closely with Sales, CRM/Data, and Product teams, you will help improve funnel performance and elevate the customer experience at every stage. This is a fully office-based role at our Peterborough headquarters and is well-suited to a proactive marketer who wants to influence strategy and deliver measurable commercial outcomes. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will plan, build, and execute high-performing email marketing programmes that support lead generation, pipeline creation, and conversion. You will manage re-engagement workflows designed to revive stalled leads and return them to the active sales pipeline. You will also deliver targeted customer campaigns that focus on increasing adoption, engagement, retention, and upsell opportunities. The position requires designing and optimising multi-channel lifecycle sequences across email and SMS while ensuring consistent and aligned messaging across all touchpoints. You will work closely with the Sales team to improve lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-close conversion rates, providing segmented messaging and targeted campaign support at key funnel stages. You will create a wide range of marketing assets, including email templates, lifecycle flows, SMS scripts, landing pages, sales enablement content, and product collateral. A strong emphasis is placed on effective segmentation using behavioural, lifecycle, and product-interest data to deliver personalised communication that drives higher engagement. The role includes executing A/B tests across subject lines, messaging, cadence, offers, and channel mix, using performance insights to further improve results. You will track, analyse, and report on key metrics such as MQLs, SQLs, opportunity creation, reactivation rates, conversion rates, and revenue attribution. Maintaining high deliverability standards is essential, including list hygiene, suppression logic, sender reputation, and compliance with opt-in regulations. You will also collaborate with CRM and data teams to ensure accurate tracking and that Sales receives clean, high-quality, and actionable leads. This is a fully office-based role working Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, based in our modern Peterborough headquarters.
