Those in human resource operations at PwC will focus on all areas of Human Resources and the business in executing Human Resources related transactions and administrative activities. You will be a primary HR point of contact in the resolution, escalation or routing of inquiries as needed in line with HR protocols and guidelines, as well as be part of a team of problem solvers that help solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Job Summary:
This is a Senior Associate position operating within the People Operations area of the wider People Pillar.
As part of Reward, Recognition & Benefits, this role supports the delivery and ongoing management of the firm's reward programmes, employee recognition initiatives, and benefits offerings. The role has oversight of the local employee recognition programme and is responsible for the day-to-day handling of the recognition system, including coordination with Payroll and other relevant teams.
The role also supports the Remuneration Sub Committee, including communications and preparation of related materials. Close collaboration with broader Human Capital (HC) teams, such as Business Partners, Systems, Policy, and Talent Acquisition, is essential to enable effective execution of reward strategies aligned with business and People Strategy.
Responsibilities:
The key focus is on delivering high quality people solutions, in support of the People Strategy, aligned to the business areas and firm business strategy.
1. Delivering on an annual cycle of key initiatives, as well as driving efficiencies by bringing together a strong HC knowledge base, and an innovative mindset.
2. Working with the wider People Operations team to gain broad understanding of the function and leading the team to deliver great results.

3. Supporting the delivery of high-impact reward, recognition, and benefits solutions aligned to the People and Firm business strategy.
4. Support the management and administration of compensation & benefits programmes, including annual salary reviews, ad hoc compensation changes and benefit renewals.
5. Provide oversight of the local employee recognition programme, managing the day-to-day operation of the recognition system and ensuring smooth coordination with Payroll and other stakeholders.
6. Assist in the facilitation and communications related to the Remuneration Sub Committee meetings, including preparation of documentation and updates on reward and recognition initiatives.
7. Conduct competitor reward benchmarking and market analysis to inform reward strategies.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data related to compensation and benefits within HR systems, in collaboration with Payroll and the Data Steward.
9. Collaborate with Data Steward and Analytics teams to provide insights supporting reward-related decision making.
10. Support compliance with relevant employment legislation and internal policies in reward and benefits administration.
11. Assist in the development and review of reward, recognition, and benefits policies and documentation.
12. Participate in projects or initiatives related to system implementations, process improvements, or enhancements to reward and benefits offerings.
13. Compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting with reporting.
14. Other associated tasks and support as part of the People Operations team.

Qualifications & Certifications:
17. CIPD Level 3 or above (or equivalent) preferred.
18. Must hold Entitled/Entitled to Work status (Jersey) or a Permanent Resident Certificate/Family Member Resident Permit (Guernsey). We are unable to provide a licence or work permit for this role.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential skills:
19. Experience supporting compensation, benefits, or recognition programmes.
20. Experience managing employee recognition systems and coordinating with payroll functions.
21. Good analytical skills including data analysis and reporting.
22. Experience with HR systems related to reward or benefits administration (e.g., Workday) desirable.
23. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
24. Professional and resourceful approach with strong attention to detail.
25. Good communication skills with ability to liaise effectively at different organisational levels.
Desirable skills:
26. Understanding of employment laws and regulations in BCI and experience in Employee Relations.
27. Experience in competitor reward analysis and benchmarking.
28. Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting related to reward programmes.
29. Experience supporting employee engagement or recognition initiatives.
30. Knowledge of data protection principles as they relate to HR data.
31. Project or change management experience.
Travel Requirements:
As part of a cross-island team, this role may require travel between the islands and may occasionally require further travel.
