Our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland, designs, develops, and produces radial piston motors in partnership with international OEMs in industries such as material handling, construction, and forestry machinery. Bosch Rexroth is a global leader in drive and control technologies, supplying tailored solutions for industrial applications, factory automation, mobile applications, and renewable power generation.
The apprenticeship involves rotations across machining, manufacturing, and engineering areas at the Glenrothes plant, providing broad and valuable experience. We seek talented individuals with a genuine interest in engineering.
Job Responsibilities
* Work independently and as part of a team, following instructions.
* Approach problems logically.
* Communicate effectively at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing.
* Complete training modules successfully and on time, with support from external auditors.
* Understand metrology and tooling used in production.
* Follow all company policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 National Five Qualifications at Level 4 or above, including English, Maths, Science, and technical subjects like Graphic Communication or Physics.
* Applicants with an Intermediate 2 Maths qualification plus a Higher in Science/Technical subjects at Grade C or above may be considered.
* Foundation Apprenticeship in Engineering or Scientific Technology is advantageous.
