Senior Cyber Security Analyst
Salary: Up to £60,000.00 DoE
Location: Nelson
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 to 5:00/5:30 (37.5 hours)
What Youll Be Doing
* Lead & Mentor Cyber Security Team
* Support the building of Cyber Security Procedures & Policies
* Support in Security Architecture decisions
* Oversee vulnerability scanning processes to validate the effectiveness of patching efforts
* Arrange and support security penetration testing initiatives
* Monitor external information sources and provide recommendations on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to our environment
* Assess, plan, and coordinate patch management activities for internal systems and hardware
* Evaluate and recommend server hardening measures for implementation by the Infrastructure Team
* Assist with the configuration of email and internet security solutions
* Ensure all security configurations comply with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus standards
