Location: Mayfield Primary School and Nursery, Kennilworth Drive, Saltcoats, KA21 6LH

Rate: £13.48 - £13.78 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 35 hours per week


Job Summary

Start date: 19th August 2025.

Duration: Temporary until 2nd April 2026.

Interview process: Interviews may be conducted in person or via Microsoft Teams. Candidates will be provided with guidance for virtual interviews.

This position is based at Mayfield Primary School. Reporting to the Education Business Officer, you will undertake clerical and administrative support tasks. Please see the attached Role Profile for more details.

PVG (Children)

This role involves Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Applicants barred from working with children should not apply.

Preferred candidates will need to join or update their PVG Scheme prior to employment confirmation. The cost (£59 or £18) will be deducted from wages after starting. If successful, your name and email will be entered into the Disclosure Scotland PVG system to generate your PVG form, which will be sent via email for completion.
