Find Out More About Ricoh Today What you will be doing As the Strategic Vendor manager you will be responsible for the effective management and engagement of key vendor, partner and suppliers to enable ITS to maximise end to end profitability. Key Accountabilities: Responsible for negotiating pricing and commercial terms from all vendors, partners and suppliers ensuring that terms are competitive and matched in with ITS commercial objectives. In order to ensure that end to end profitability is maximized for ITS. To create mutually agreed Business Plans with key suppliers in order to deliver ITS divisional commercial objectives. Provide leadership, management and motivation to the vendor and partner support team in order to ensure that the team assist in the achievement of targets and key performance indicators. Conduct regular reviews/ and QBR’s with key vendors, partners and suppliers to measure and maximise achievement and continually assess suitability. Evaluate and introduce to Procurement relevant new vendors, partners and suppliers having first ensured that commercial terms and pricing are in-line with ITS business objectives. Manage and update the ASL and work with the Purchasing function to ensure that goods and services are procured from the routes that deliver the greatest profitability. Continually monitor all rebate programs and chase all collection of back end margin/rebate to ensure it is delivered in a timely fashion and that commercial objectives are achieved. Assist where necessary with special bid requests either via a portal (if access allows), with the vendor directly or with a distribution partner. Responsible for the tactically sourcing of products through channel contacts at more preferential pricing, in order to maximise margin. You will ideally have Proven experience within an IT Sales environment Detailed knowledge of all aspects of the IT Channel Detailed experience of working with vendors, distributors and other supplier types Close commercial experience of managing supply chain to maximise margin Amenable, positive and driven personality Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills Focused on achieving targets Self motivated and flexible team worker with proven ability to deliver and work under pressure Conscientious with excellent attention to detail Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills Competent understanding of the special bid process, supplier portals and web based tools IT literate with intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word We receive a high volume of applications for our roles, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible In return for your commitment, you can expect We’re looking for individuals with values and causes, strengths and weaknesses, passions and ideas.
