Job summary

They will work with the Equality Team to embed compassionate and inclusive services across BCUHB.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will develop and deliver training sessions for staff across the health board, contribute to the design and delivery of organizational development strategies, and support the implementation of Strategic Equality Objectives, WG Equality-focused action plans, and the Culture & Leadership Programme.
They will work closely with the patient experience team to ensure that diverse community voices are heard and integrated into service delivery. The role involves developing innovative learning and organizational development strategies to enhance staff and patient experiences. The post also involves interpreting national legislation and policies, including Welsh Government's Anti-racist Wales Action Plan, LGBTQ+ Action Plan, Putting Things Right (PTR), Duty of Candour, and the Wales duty of Quality. Fluency in Welsh is desirable but not essential.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent in an equality/training-related field
* Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent experience in facilitation and/or coaching
* Experience in culture, education, and training development
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
* OD/change management experience and/or qualification
Experience
* Planning, developing, and delivering staff engagement activities in virtual and in-person settings
* Planning and facilitating focus groups/workshops
* Using evaluation methods, including impact assessments
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This role requires a DBS check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
