This consultancy advises on a wide range of residential andmixed-use developments, often involving sensitive heritage settings, ruraledge-of-settlement growth, and strategic land promotion. Their work requires aplaner who can blend technical planning expertise with a practical,commercially aware approach.
The Role
As a Senior Planner, you will take ownership of key projectsand act as a main point of contact for clients.
Responsibilities include:
* Leadingresidential planning applications through to determination
* Draftingdetailed Planning Statements and planning strategy reports
* Negotiatingwith planning officers and consultees
* Representingclients at planning committee
* ManagingLocal Plan representations and consultation submissions
* Supportingappeal strategies and evidence preparation
* Mentoringjunior planners and supporting technical development
This is a role offering autonomy, strong project variety anda clear route for progression.
About You
* MRTPIqualified or close to achieving chartership
* Strongexperience in residential planning
* Experiencewith rural development, heritage constraints or sensitive sitesadvantageous
* Confidentcommunicator with strong client-facing ability
* Commerciallyminded with strong organisational skills
