Requirements
The duties involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for work with these groups, or if already a member, undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a permanent full-time position based at Robert Burns Academy, Barony Campus, Cumnock. The hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday, under the direction of the line manager.
