Overview
We are on the search for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dynamic individual to join us as Maintenance Manager at Best Western Premier Suites Hotel & Spa.
Responsibilities
* To ensure all Maintenance is carried out on a daily basis to a high standard.
* To manage contractors while on site and to ensure they follow hotel protocol on working within the premises.
* To monitor the contractors, ensuring that they provide the correct paperwork and sign in as visitors in compliance with current legislation and internal processes and procedures.
* To ensure the property is a safe environment to work and is kept well maintained within the building and surrounding property – including grounds and car parks.
* Planned Maintenance is carried out according to Health & Safety set up – daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
* Plant rooms etc to be kept as a safe environment and that staff are aware of the safety requirements within these areas.
* To ensure that all staff have the necessary training to carry out the task in which they are expected to do, and training is all signed off and recorded accurately.
* Health & Safety records are kept up to date at all times.
* Equipment should be kept safe and free from theft and malicious damage, stock levels should be maintained at all times
* H&S procedures followed wherever necessary and possible to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and requirements
* Previous experience in a similar maintenance management role.
* Fantastic communication and organisational skills.
* A hands on leader.
* Valid right to work within the United Kingdom.
