Role The Studio Manager’s role is to work with the existing team to develop and implement exciting and engaging events and activities, with an overall aim of creating a vibrant space for people to engage with future technologies in the screen industries. The role will involve a mix of project facilitation and helping users transform initial ideas into project proposals and meaningful and manageable projects. The Studio Manager will also be responsible for project management processes, and facilitating the smooth running of the Studio. The Studio Manager will work with SMEs, regional organisations, academics, researchers and students, including in future commercial contexts. The successful applicant should ideally have technical knowledge in immersive technologies or production and their application in various creative industries contexts, though the Studio Manager will be working alongside and supported by key creative technologists. This industry and technical knowledge will be used to develop new contacts and projects, which the Studio Manager will see through to completion. Skills, Experience & Qualification needed You will have: Level 3 qualification. We also welcome applicants with equivalent non-UK qualifications or equivalent professional experience. Collaboration, engagement and relationship building with external and internal stakeholders. Taking ownership for / Hold a significant role in the delivery of distinct pieces of work e.g. leading a project. Gather, analyse, interpret and report complex data/information. Use digital technologies including Google applications and/or Microsoft Office. Communicate effectively in verbal and written formats, including the use of a variety of digital tools.
