Your Key Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, highly differentiated lessons that cater to a wide range of academic abilities and emotional needs. Relationship Building: Develop strong, trusting rapport with pupils who may have had negative experiences with mainstream education. Behavior Management: Utilize trauma-informed practices and de-escalation techniques to maintain a therapeutic classroom environment. Assessment & Reporting: Track academic and Nurture-based progress, contributing to EHCP annual reviews and multi-agency meetings. Nurture Approach: Integrate social skills and emotional literacy into the daily timetable. Experience: Proven experience teaching or leading groups of children with SEMH, ASC, or ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder).
