Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
* Load and unload DIY products onto the vehicle with the help of a porter, ensuring secure and organised transport.
* Plan delivery routes efficiently to maximise productivity and minimise delays.
* Provide outstanding customer service during product deliveries, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour.
* Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
* Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department.
* Collaborate with the warehouse team to organise product loading and stock management.
* Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, conducting regular safety checks.
Ideal Candidate
* Valid 7.5T driving license (C1 category) with CPC qualification and Digi card
* Previous experience as a 7.5T driver, preferably in a delivery role.
* Knowledge of local road networks and routes.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks.
