Drainage Engineer – Metro Rod
The Drainage Engineer role is based in the Cirencester area and supports Metro Rod’s waste & water services division, working with major retailers and corporate clients across the UK.
Base pay range
Salary £27,000 – £29,000 DOE plus commission, on‑call & overtime (circa £1,000 per month).
Responsibilities
* Carry out cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customers’ drains.
* Operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment under strict safety procedures.
* Perform surveys and record job details accurately.
* Provide excellent customer service to commercial and domestic clients.
* Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rota.
Experience & Qualifications
* High‑pressure water jetting and confined space experience.
* Surveying experience.
* Minimum 2 years’ domestic & commercial drainage experience.
* Problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge.
* Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude.
* Willingness to work unsociable hours.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Resident of the Cirencester area.
