Operating from multiple offices in seven countries and with a full-time staff of approximately 400 individuals, RED provides contract, permanent and interim services to SAP and core technology itself, to IT consulting companies as well as to end user clients.
The Position
Working in a busy team of six and reporting to the Credit & Risk Manager, the Credit Controller will be responsible for a ledger of ca. £5m covering approx. 140 live accounts with clients based in the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA. Key duties will include:
Successful Candidates:
* Experience within Recruitment preferred
* May have experience within an accounts function but it is not necessary
* Will be diligent and hard working with strong attention to detail
* Will be working with Excel and Sage X3 so prior experience is an advantage
* May have knowledge of Accounts Receivable ledger and cash allocation but it is not necessary
* Will have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Fluent English essential and additional languages are welcome
Duties
* Track new client engagement on CRM
* Carry out new company credit searches if required
* Ability to learn and understand client invoice and PO portals
* Ability to qualify client approval requirements and payment process flows
* Checking submission of sales invoices by Accounts team to ensure they are correct
* Diligent chasing of debtors to ensure collection within client payment terms
* Quick resolution of queries raised by the client and internal associates
* Ensure quick escalation of problematic clients to avoid unnecessary delays in payment
* Ability to develop strong working relationships with the Shared Service teams as well as Sales Teams
