We are currently recruiting for a Sessional Teacher of ESOL to join our team at the Roundhouse Campus in Pride Park, Derby. You will deliver high-quality teaching and learning that promotes student engagement, progress, and achievement. This is a sessional role with variable hours starting from 1.5 hours per week and requires flexibility to cover at short notice. The Opportunity In this role, youll play a key part in the success of the ESOL provision delivered to students across Derby and the surrounding areas. Youll provide dynamic, responsive, and inclusive ESOL teaching to 1618-year-olds, supporting learners from pre-entry to Entry Level 3. Delivery will include ESOL linked to Functional Skills Maths, Essential Digital Skills, and tutorial sessions aligned with the academys programme. About You Youll be an experienced teacher with a background in teaching ESOL, Functional Maths, GCSE Maths, and Essential Digital Skills to 1618-year-olds, including asylum seeking or refugee students. Confident in delivering a range of ESOL modules, youll bring a flexible and responsive approach to meet the needs of a sessional role. A recognised teaching qualification (Certificate in Education/PGCE/Professional Diploma in Teaching) is essential.
