We are seeking an EAL Teaching Assistant to workprimarily with students who have English as an additional language. You willneed to have the ability and confidence to motivate and inspire young people tofulfil their potential, whilst demonstrating empathy and an understanding oftheir needs.
As well as working with students intheclassroomlearning environments, you will also be required tocarry out one to one work with students, across all Key Stages and curriculumareas. This will be a rewarding post within an extremely supportive workingenvironment. Being at least bi-lingual is essential and the post would suitsomebody who possesses previous experience of working in a school or workingwith young adults. A TEFL qualification would be desirable.
The position is 37 hours per week (Mon-Thur 08:00 –16:00pm, Fri 08:00 – 15:30pm), term time only 38 weeks per year, on a permanent basis.
