We are seeking skilled and compassionate bank inpatient physiotherapists to join our Inpatient therapy team at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. The role involves providing cover for staff absences and supporting service demand.
The successful candidate should demonstrate the Trust values and meet the responsibilities outlined in the job description and person specification. Proven experience in orthopaedics, acute medicine and frailty, respiratory, neurology, and emergency department settings is required.

* Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, facilitating effective multidisciplinary care in areas including orthopaedics, neurology, acute medicine and frailty, respiratory, surgery, and emergency department.
* Work within an integrated therapy team comprising physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dieticians, speech and language therapists, therapy support workers, and administrative staff.
* Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment and treatment to inpatients independently, with access to support from a team lead as needed. Clinical work is regularly evaluated.
* Collaborate with patients’ families or carers to offer support, education, and set realistic expectations for inpatient care.
* Supervise, teach, and appraise Band 5 physiotherapists and support workers.
* Participate in Continuing Professional Development, evidence-based audits, and research projects to enhance the service.
