Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Supervisor, the role requires the successful candidate to work as part of a 3-shift operation with the responsibility for the day to day maintenance and repair of Renishaw production plant and equipment working predominately on CNC machinery.Responsibilities Carrying out preventative scheduled maintenance and electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault diagnostic processes on the following types of machinery and equipment and implementing the appropriate remedial/corrective actions:Mazak Nexus, FJV, AJV and Haas machining centresCitizen B12, F Series, K16, M20, M32, A32, L32, Mazak Integrex, and Star lathes including their associated barfeed, gantry work handling and coolant systemsKasto sawing stations including their associated automated deburring systemsProcess Finishing equipment to include automated deburring equipment, cleaning machines, polishing machines and anodising process linesLaser marking machines and laser cutting machinesInjection moulding machines and associated chiller systemsCNC cutter grindersMitsubishi, Fanuc & Kuka robotic systemsSolvent & soap based cleaning machinesCompressed air generation plant and their associated dryersLEV and extraction systemsDemonstrating good electrically/mechanically biased machine tool knowledge and diagnostic skillsDelivering quality workmanship in terms of time, accuracy, and job feedbackAccurately assessing and communicating fault diagnostic issues and corrective actions to the supervision teamKey requirementsA minimum of ONC/City and Guilds equivalents in electrical or mechanical engineeringProven expertise in CNC machine tool repair and maintenance techniques are essentialDesirable requirementsBasic PC literacy and familiar with current Microsoft Office packagesPerson specification As the successful candidate you willbe a good team player with an ability to work on own initiative when required and have an aptitude for problem solving.BenefitsWhen you join Renishaw, we're committing to your future career.
