Overall Purpose of the Role
Summary of the role
This role encompasses the operational responsibility for all aspects of the localisation and the creation of digital assets with a linear first window;u00a0the candidate will also be responsible for the creation of local language masters u2013u00a0including library titlesu00a0- for this content as required.
The co-ordinator is expected to have relevant experience of content localisation, production, mastering and digital distribution; in addition they should have excellent project management skills, attention to detail and organisational ability.
Areas of Responsibility
Key elements and required results of the role
* As title expert, raise accurate and timely orders to commission the localisation (dubbing, subtitling, access services and metadata) of content in line within agreed deadlines and to agreed technical standards and costs (SLAs) while ensuring creative consistency.u00a0
* Organise and handle this localisation across multiple titles and territories - including creating and tracking orders on our localisation system, and the negotiation of dubbing/subbing delivery schedules with vendors.
* Update and maintain records to reflect current delivery status of materials, including library remastering projects in various databases.
* Liaise with internal colleagues and clients to create material schedules that are appropriate to the license start date or the broadcast schedule.u00a0
* Raise accurate and timely orders to commission the creation of Localised Language masters (LMs) and components as per specifications.
* Work closely with vendors on localisation and (re)mastering/component orders - provide weekly schedules to vendors as required and track the completion of projects using reporting tools.u00a0
* Action Rejections and recall notifications and update/replace materials as required.u00a0
* Contribute to the team, and collaborate on specific projects and opportunities to improve workflows.

* Attend and contribute to: Team; Departmental; Cluster and communication meetings.
* Coordinate representation of CLM team within broader Company meetings as required.u00a0
* Work effectively with departmental colleagues and cross-functionally with other members of DMED Content Ops
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties.u00a0
* Maintain a strong awareness of technical developments in the digital media space.
* Adhere to defined DMED business processes, taking opportunities to improve.u00a0
* Drive to continually develop knowledge of the product slate, media types and the territories, including customers & market dynamics.
* Ensure other Departments are familiar with our role, and how to access relevant information.u00a0
* Participate in systems testing and contribute suggestions for workflow and systems improvement.

Required Skills
Essential:
u2022u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Background or experience in a production/operations role, preferably in a creative environment
u2022u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Excellent and demonstrable project management experience, including the handling of rejections and tracking vendor performance through metrics.
u2022u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Experience of File based and High Definition technology, New Media and electronic file delivery.
Desirable:
