Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of multiple sites. The role is responsible for managing maintenance, health & safety, contractors, and day-to-day site operations, ensuring a high standard of service delivery across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage planned and reactive maintenance across all buildings and assets
* Ensure full health & safety compliance, including risk assessments and statutory checks
* Oversee and manage contractors and service providers, including performance and costs
* Monitor and control budgets, quotations, and procurement activities
* Lead on site inspections, audits, and compliance reporting
* Manage incident response, including damage events and urgent repairs
* Support and deliver projects such as refurbishments and improvements
* Maintain accurate records using CAFM systems / ER Hub / internal systems
* Build strong relationships with clients, school leadership teams, and stakeholders
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a Facilities Management role, ideally multi‑site
* Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation (e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH)
* Experience managing contractors and service level agreements (SLAs)
* Good financial awareness and budget management skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management
* Ability to prioritise and manage a busy, reactive workload
Qualifications (Desirable)
* IOSH / NEBOSH certification
* IWFM qualification or equivalent
* Relevant technical or trade background
