Position Details
* SLT level: aspiring to join the Executive team
* Reporting to: COO
* Line manages: Social media manager and external agencies or partners (web, design, digital)
* Location: Dalston Office, with regular presence at all sites
* Contract: Full Time
* Salary: £55,000+
Role Purpose
As the Head of Marketing, you will be the catalyst for keeping The Dusty Knuckle brand relevant and resonant with our customers. You will co‑design and implement the brand pack used throughout the business, own the marketing strategy to drive demand, grow our audience, and translate market insights into new product development, events, and other brand‑enhancing initiatives. Your role will encompass the entire customer journey—from café visits to digital interactions—ensuring all touchpoints align with our brand vision and keep customers at the centre of decision making.
Key Responsibilities
* Brand Development & Positioning
o Shape and lead the execution of The Dusty Knuckle’s brand identity across commercial and social impact channels.
o Deliver a compelling brand story that resonates across all channels and audiences.
o Manage the social media team and external agents to ensure consistent messaging, aesthetics, and engagement.
o Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all channels, adapting to feedback and trends.
* Integrated Marketing Strategy
o Lead the marketing calendar one year ahead and drive demand‑generation initiatives.
o Develop and execute marketing for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and other brand‑visible activities.
o Collaborate cross‑functionally to align marketing with retail operations and maximize trading opportunities.
o Provide market insight to support new product commercialization, including positioning, launch planning, and performance analysis.
o Own the sales impact of marketing efforts and identify strategic collaborations and events.
* Customer Experience & Engagement
o Ensure the brand experience is consistently delivered across all touchpoints, both in‑person and online.
o Design and implement visual merchandising, packaging, gift presentation, and promotional materials.
o Manage website performance and digital sales channels to support business objectives.
o Drive engagement through effective online marketing strategies and social media presence, coordinating with operations to convert sales.
o Deploy external agencies to maximise digital sales and eliminate friction from online purchase moments.
* Data‑Driven Insights & Trend Analysis
o Use analytics and trend analysis to inform strategies and assess performance against goals.
o Analyse sales data and customer feedback to refine product offerings and marketing tactics.
o Present actionable insights to the COO and the executive team.
