Overview
Children's Home - Registered Manager - Salisbury. We are looking to appoint a Registered Manager to join our Children’s home in the heart of Salisbury. The setting is for three children aged 6-18 who call this their home and is based in the centre of Salisbury, a short walk to our school, head office, and all the shops and amenities.
Responsibilities
* Lead, develop, and manage an established team of Residential Child Care Workers in a Children\'s Home setting.
* Deliver and execute the brand values; be an integral part of the residential leadership team.
* Collaborate with the Registered Manager of our Salisbury home network, our Clinical Team, and Education Services.
* Ensure smooth operation of the home, including supporting Ofsted registrations and future inspections.
* Provide ongoing support through supervision and professional development measures; work with a Regional Operations Manager and Head of Residential.
* Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of Children and Young People; engage in appropriate child protection screening and DBS checks as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of two years\' experience in a children\'s home, with at least one year in a supervisory or management role.
* Hold or be working towards Level 5 in Leadership and Management; Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce.
* Proven track record with Ofsted and navigating the Legislative Framework.
Hours & Support
On average, 39 hours per week with some flexibility required to ensure the smooth running of the home.
As part of the Registered Manager team, you will receive regular professional support and supervision from our Regional Operations Manager and Head of Residential. You will also have monthly peer support, along with clinical integrated leadership in the home. We will support you through your Ofsted registration and future inspections and invest in your development from day one. You will also receive support from a dedicated HR business partner for any employee relations queries.
