Warehouse / Logistics Supervisor – Permanent
Location: Cradley Heath
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Salary: £26,000 – £28,500 per annum (depending on experience)

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse / Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a busy despatch environment.
This is a hands-on supervisory position where you’ll manage people, vehicles, and products to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and be confident using computer systems for stock control, reporting, and vehicle management.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a small despatch team, ensuring targets and quality standards are met.
Plan and oversee daily logistics and dispatch operations, ensuring goods are prepared, loaded, and despatched on time.
Manage fleet vehicles – scheduling MOTs, services, and inspections, and maintaining accurate records.
Maintain accurate stock levels, order sheets, and system updates using Excel or similar software.
Liaise with drivers and agencies to coordinate transport schedules and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Oversee and promote a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
Support and coach team members, leading by example and maintaining strong communication across departments.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within warehousing, logistics, or despatch.
Confident computer user, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel essential) and stock management systems.
Knowledge of vehicle compliance (MOTs, servicing schedules, inspections).
FLT licence – current or recently expired (in-house refreshers can be provided).
Excellent people management, planning, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety and operational efficiency.
