Night Shift, 33 hours per week.

The role of a senior carer is important and valued within the Health & Social Care industry.
You will lead, develop, and coordinate a team of care workers to provide the highest standards of care, ensuring the dignity of residents is always maintained.
Job Role: To support the Manager in the overall management of the home. Assume responsibilities of the Manager in their absence. Create an environment that respects residents' rights and wishes, encourages person-centered care, and maximizes independence.

As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities include:
* Understanding and providing for residents' health needs and understanding the impact of ongoing care on clients and families.
* Assisting clients with daily care needs they would normally undertake themselves if able.
* Participating in holistic caring activities.
* Care for all clients’ needs to optimize independence.
* Promoting residents’ participation in care planning and reviews.
* Managing care plans, medication, and care delivery for a designated group of service users.
* Respecting confidentiality rights.
* Assisting with moving, handling, dressing, and daily hygiene needs.
* Observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions.
* Reporting hazards or unsafe equipment to the Manager.
* Attending in-service and mandatory training sessions.
* Ensuring care delivery complies with policies, procedures, and practices.
Desirable qualifications and experience include:
* NVQ Level 3 / MA Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
* Experience as a senior in a Residential Care or Nursing Home.
* A passion for elderly care.
* Experience with medication administration.
