Principal Platform Engineer (GCP) - Up to £120K - 3 days a week on site in Sheffield
I’m supporting a consultancy that is building out its GCP engineering practice and needs someone with strong fintech experience.
What you’ll work on:
* Designing and delivering GCP platforms for fintech clients
* GKE, IAM, VPC, networking, CI/CD and automation
* Terraform‑based platform builds and hardened Kubernetes environments
* Setting engineering standards and supporting engineers on complex delivery work
What you’ll need:
* Strong Kubernetes and Terraform background
* Good Linux and CI/CD knowledge
* Ability to code (Python, Go, Java, etc.)
* Background in fintech or financial services
* Consultancy or client‑facing engineering experience
* Ability to work on site 3 days a week in Sheffield
