Academics is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a client school in Batley. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a dynamic educational environment, supporting children in their early years with SEND. The role is full-time, long-term, and has the potential to lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
About the Role:
* Specialisation: SEND and Early Years
* Type: Full-Time, Part Time, Flexible Roles Available
* Pay: £90 - £100 per day, paid weekly
* Location: Batley, West Yorkshire
* Start Date: Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with SEND in an Early Years setting.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Support classroom activities and help with the preparation of learning materials.
* Work closely with teachers and other staff to monitor and encourage student progress.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to children, focusing on their educational and developmental needs.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEND, particularly with Early Years and KS1 Children.
* A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children's individual needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
* Relevant qualifications or experience in childcare, education, or SEND support is highly desirable.
