Role Information The school is seeking a skilled, analytical, and highly organised Data Manager to take responsibility for managing, maintaining, and developing the school’s data systems. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing the school MIS (Bromcom) and ensuring all student/staff data is accurate and secure Managing assessment cycles, including data collection, validation, and analysis Producing reports for teachers, Heads of Year, curriculum leads, SLT, and governors Supporting performance analysis, progress tracking, and attainment reports Preparing census returns (School Census, Workforce Census) to statutory deadlines Managing access rights, system permissions, and GDPR-compliant processes Training staff on data entry, analysis tools, and reporting systems Supporting timetabling processes and liaising with the Exams Officer Creating dashboards and data visualisations that support teaching and leadership Working closely with IT, assessment leads, and senior leaders to improve data strategy This role requires someone who is confident with data, highly accurate, and comfortable producing complex analysis.
