Role Purpose
We are seeking a proven Project Manager to lead
both the delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects and the development of a small, high-performing project team.
This role combines hands-on project delivery with genuine people management — including pastoral management, coaching, and building team capability.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, mentor, and develop the Project Services team, fostering a high-performance, customer-first culture.
* Oversee portfolio planning, resource allocation, and delivery standards.
* Deliver customer-facing infrastructure and service transition projects, ensuring scope, budget, and quality targets are met.
* Act as the primary customer contact, leading meetings, reviews, and communications.
* Drive improvements in project governance, processes, and reporting.
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years in senior project management roles, with responsibility for both delivery and line management of teams.
* Strong background in IT infrastructure, outsourcing, hardware deployment, or service transition projects.
* Experience leading customer-facing projects with budgets up to £1M+.
* Skilled in mentoring and developing people, not just coordinating project teams.
* Prince2/PMI (ITIL Foundation desirable) with excellent communication, leadership, and commercial skills.
