Join our Wellbeing Team and make a difference to young people’s lives✨ Are you someone who genuinely enjoys working with young people? Do you bring warmth, energy, and creativity to the way you support others?

Sparsholt College Group is looking for a dynamic and approachable Wellbeing Practitioner to support 16+ year olds to thrive both personally and academically. This is a hands-on, people-facing role for someone who can build trust quickly, engage students who may be reluctant to ask for help, and make wellbeing support feel accessible, relevant, and human.

You will play a key role in supporting students to overcome personal, emotional, or practical challenges that may affect their ability to engage fully in college life. From one-to-one wellbeing support to group workshops, events, and college-wide initiatives, you will help create a positive, inclusive, and accessible wellbeing culture across the college.

Responsibilities will include: 💡

•Providing one-to-one support, group sessions, workshops, and events to promote student wellbeing.

•Covering key areas such as healthy relationships, substance misuse, sexual health, and crisis support.

•Provide Duty cover within the Wellbeing Hub, triaging students and working closely with academic teams to ensure timely and appropriate support.

•Contribute to the development and review of wellbeing resources, ensuring they remain accessible, inclusive, and relevant to 16+year olds.

•Collaborate with curriculum departments and contribute to student transition to college.

•Maintain accurate, timely records in line with safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection requirements.

•Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and support key pastoral groups, including Children in Care, Young Adult Carers, Care Leavers, and Young Parents.

What we are looking for: 🌟

•A relevant Level 3 qualification or above, with GCSEs in Maths and English (A*–C) or equivalent.

•Relevant qualifications or experience in mental health, education, counselling, youth work, health, social care, mentoring, or a related field.

•At least two years’ experience supporting young people, adults, or vulnerable adults, ideally within a safeguarding or wellbeing context.

•Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build rapport, motivate students, and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

•Calm, resilient, and professional when supporting students with complex or sensitive needs in a fast-paced environment.

• A genuine commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing.

Why Join Us? 🌱

•Be part of a supportive, passionate team dedicated to student wellbeing and success.

•Make a real and tangible difference in young people’s lives.

•Access ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

•Work in a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring college community where wellbeing is valued.

College Benefits: 🎓

•Eligibility to join the NEST Pension Scheme

•Free on-site parking

•Occupational Sick Pay & Maternity Pay schemes

•Flexible Working Policy

•Access to an Employee Assistance Programme

•Free on-campus gym at Sparsholt Campus

•Opportunity to purchase Sparsholt-grown produce: plants, fresh fruit & veg, fish, and game

•Discounted hair treatments at the Andover campus salon

•Wide range of CPD events, plus support with professional qualifications
