As a Technical Excellence Engineer you will play an integral role in innovating the future of our business. Focusing on process variability we use a data‑based approach to improve the performance of our manufacturing systems, delivering improved quality and reduced scrap and rework. This permanent role will be based at our manufacturing site in Llanberis. We are looking for a highly capable and motivated Process or Continuous Improvement Engineer with a real passion for continuous improvement to join our established improvement team.
Responsibilities
* Lead projects and project teams responsible for the improvement of testing and manufacturing variability associated with IMMULITE products.
* Apply scientific and statistical principles and systematic processes to identify, collect, and analyse testing and manufacturing data to identify root causes and determine appropriate solutions.
* Carry out the appropriate data analysis, data presentation, planning, development of technical protocols and reporting for each improvement activity.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years within diagnostics, pharma or biotech industry or relevant transferable experience.
* Postgraduate or graduate degree in a science or engineering discipline.
* Experience in project management and project delivery, including process improvements / application of Lean / Six Sigma.
* Experience in the application of analytical tools.
* Ability to work cross‑site and cross‑functionally.
* Attention to detail, time management skills and teamwork.
