Working within a small and friendly team, a vacancy exists for a Key Account Manager to:
* Fulfil day-to-day customer-based compliance functions in relation to WEEE, packaging and batteries.
* Maintain high quality customer services, enabling the company to retain existing customers and attract new ones.
* Provide expert advice to customers on EPR legislation.
Main Tasks:
* Front line point of contact for customers (Members) of the schemes, with responsibility for specific key customer accounts.
* Resolve or escalate any internal and external customer issues.
* Develop an understanding of relevant legislation to enable quality advice to Members on regulatory and reporting requirements.
* Work closely alongside colleagues and managers to collectively provide the highest standard of customer service.
* Contribute to customer retention and growth through engagement activities.
* Participate in data rounds, working to strict deadlines, collecting member data submissions for registration with regulatory bodies. Check and query data to satisfy the scheme that information submitted is accurate.
* Audit Members’ data/obligations through a combination of desk-based audits and audit visits.
* Responsible for Member information and contact details on the customer management system, ensuring regulatory requirements are met in terms of record keeping and changes.
* Support the development and implementation of changes resulting from new legislation
* Identifying opportunities for cross-selling within key customer accounts and taking responsibility for developing and ultimately converting these new opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
* Good technical knowledge and understanding of UK EPR legislation including Packaging, WEEE and Batteries.
* IT proficiency in MS Office systems.
* Previous experience in key account management.
* Full UK Driver’s Licence.
Our client has offices based in London and the West Midlands. Although the company offers an Agile Working Policy, which will therefore allow for home working, the position also requires some travel to either office (or both) and travel to customer locations within the UK.
