Are you interested in providing Autism Support to children in a school setting?
We are seeking a dedicated Autism Support practitioner to join a specialist provision in Hounslow from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone providing Autism Support to gain practical, hands-on experience supporting pupils on the autism spectrum. The role will involve helping children develop communication skills, social interaction, independence, and confidence.
The Autism Support position is ideal for graduates or those considering further study or training in education, psychology, or therapy. Providing Autism Support in this setting will allow you to understand how structured routines, visual aids, and personalised strategies can support pupils learning and wellbeing.
In this Autism Support role, you will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver both 1:1 and small group support. You will assist pupils with autism in managing daily routines, participating in lessons, and engaging with structured learning activities.
This position will help you develop practical classroom skills, understand autism-informed approaches, and build meaningful relationships with pupils. It is also a chance to gain insight into adapting strategies to meet individual needs, supporting social development, and promoting positive behaviour. Through this Autism Support role, you will gain valuable experience that will benefit future careers in education, therapy, or related fields.
Autism Support | Essential Requirements:
UK undergraduate degree in Psychology, Education, or a closely related field
Experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEND or ASC exposure

Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: Running till July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)
