A highly rated secondary school in Central Coventry is seeking to recruit a full-time P.E. Teacher to join their supportive team after the October half term in November 2025. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing a timetable that includes all secondary year groups, with ideally some A-Level (KS5) classes. The school is known for its excellent pupil progress and teacher support and development. The role initially covers maternity leave, with potential for further opportunities for the right candidate.
Experience or willingness to cover other secondary subjects is desirable, as the timetable may include cover supervision.
The successful PE teacher will have:
* QTS or relevant coaching qualifications and a higher-level diploma
* Experience in sports coaching and/or education
* Ability to deliver high-quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum
* Knowledge of effective pupil behaviour management and strategies to manage a class of 30 students
