Your new company
Hays Business Support is delighted to be supporting a large local organisation to recruit for a Purchasing Administrator on an ongoing temporary basis.
Your new role

* Process purchase/sales orders and maintain accurate records
* Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability and delivery schedules
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand
* Resolve order discrepancies, delivery issues and invoice queries
* Maintain and update supplier databases and documentation
* Generate reports on purchasing activity, cost savings and supplier performance
* Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations


What you'll need to succeed

* Previous experience in a purchasing or sales administrative role (preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment)
* Excellent written communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
* High levels of accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
