About The Role:
As an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will work closely with experienced staff, gain exposure to a range of classroom settings, and develop the skills needed for a successful future in education. You’ll have the chance to inspire young learners while receiving support and mentoring throughout your journey.
Early Career Teacher Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative, inclusive, and engaging lessons
* Support the academic and emotional needs of all students
* Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
* Adapt teaching approaches for students of different learning abilities
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student outcomes
* Reflect on practice and implement feedback for continuous improvement
What we need from an Early Career Teacher (ECT):
* QTS (or expected QTS by September 2025)
* Completion of a recognised teacher training programme
* Strong classroom presence and a passion for teaching
* Willingness to take on new challenges and grow professionally
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
