Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Newcastle Skoda & Kia Dealership
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: £23,100 – £26,250 per annum (depending on experience)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our friendly and experienced Accounts team at our multi-brand dealership in Newcastle supporting our Skoda and Kia franchises. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established team within a reputable motor trade group.
Responsibilities
1. Handling daily banking and processing incoming payments across all departments
2. Logging and processing supplier invoices via the purchase ledger
3. Preparing and submitting BACS transfer requests
4. Processing manufacturer warranty payments
Essential Skills / Experience:
5. A keen eye for accuracy and a passion for getting the details right
6. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
7. Confidence in working independently while also being a team player
8. Great communication skills, both written and verbal
9. A high level of discretion when handling sensitive financial information
10. Flexibility to support the wider team during busy periods or holiday cover
