Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Tamworth
Hours of Work: 42 hours continental day and night shift pattern
Role Responsibilities:
1. Repair all faults arising on any plant or equipment on site
2. To respond to breakdowns as quickly and efficiently as possible
3. In the event of multiple breakdowns consult with management in order to prioritise
4. To carry out planned maintenance and installation work as and when required
5. To be responsible for the quality and safety of the work that you carry out in accordance with current legislation
6. To log all relevant information and data in the CMMS system
7. To carry tasks out to high degree of workmanship in a environment which strives for continuous improvement
8. To report and order, when needed spare and critical parts
9. To keep the workshop and stores clean tidy and safe at all times
10. To be responsible for your own safety by performing tasks in a safe and timely manner in accordance with Company Health and Safety Rules and Working Practices.(Health and Safety Charter of Rules)

Role Requirements:
12. Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a similar technical role
13. Competency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
14. Familiarity with planned preventive maintenance processes
15. Ability to use and update CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems
16. Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
17. Flexible to respond to out-of-hours issues when required
