About the Role
The successful teacher will deliver Food Preparation and Nutrition across KS3–KS5, guiding students in developing a deep understanding of food science, health, and sustainability. Lessons are designed to build essential life skills through a balance of practical cooking sessions, theory-based learning, and innovative project work.
The teacher will have the opportunity to lead engaging workshops, competitions, and enrichment programmes that connect food education to real-world issues such as sustainable sourcing, dietary diversity, and global food systems. There will also be scope to collaborate with local producers, nutritionists, and catering professionals, broadening the students’ exposure to modern food industries.
They will play a key role in helping students prepare for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring that every learner—regardless of ability—develops confidence, precision, and pride in their culinary skills.

Experience and Qualifications
