The Role
* Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 depending on experience
* Delivering structured and engaging practical and theory-based lessons
* Supporting pupils with NEA, coursework, and exam preparation
* Promoting high standards of hygiene, safety, and organisation within kitchen environments
* Monitoring pupil progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
* Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
* Supporting enrichment initiatives and cross-curricular opportunities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or related discipline
* Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
* Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
* High expectations for pupil engagement and academic achievement
* A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
