INFORMATION REGARDING THE POSITION
Role: Head of Faculty
Start date: 1st September 2026
Salary: Leadership Scale L8 – L11 (£61,533 - £66,367)
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an ambitious, dynamic and inspirational Faculty Leader, to lead the following subject areas: -
* Key Stage 3 Science
* GCSE and A level Biology, Chemistry, Physics
* GCSE Combined Science
* A Level Psychology
As well as possessing excellent leadership qualities, the successful candidate will be required to lead a subject area within the faculty and teach that subject up to and including A Level.
The Head of Faculty position forms part of the school’s Wider Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity and a position that would be of particular interest to candidates who aspire to senior leadership in the future.

* be prepared to support the school beyond their job description and take part in a range of events and activities that form part of the life and ethos of our school.
