Job Description
3. Manage your own varied caseload, taking responsibility for progressing matters efficiently and providing clear, practical legal input.
4. Support major projects across the business, offering timely legal guidance to ensure risks are identified early and decisions are well‑informed.
5. Prepare and review title reports, analysing property information to support acquisitions, disposals, development work, and wider operational needs.
6. Handle small‑scale disposals, including drafting and reviewing documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Respond to requests for licenses, wayleaves, and deeds of easement.
The Successful Applicant
8. To hold a valid Practising Certificate (or equivalent) to ensure you can carry out Reserved Work as defined by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, as well as be responsible for the supervision of members of the team who are not qualified to undertake Reserved Work
9. 1 years + PQE working within a law firm, in-house legal department, housing association or local authority and managing own legal caseload of similar cases
10. Excellent planning skills with the ability to prioritise your work
11. Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
13. Ability to develop strong working relationships within the Legal team, with internal clients and other third-party stakeholders
14. Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion
