CRA Consulting are keen to speak with commercial contracts solicitors who are looking to use their technical skills in a purpose-driven environment. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK's leading specialist teams, consistently recognised by both The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners for its expertise in the sector.
The Opportunity
You’ll join a highly regarded Charities & Social Economy team advising charities, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations across the UK. The client base ranges from local community organisations to large national and international NGOs, as well as purpose-driven businesses. The team also works closely with private client, property and pensions colleagues, meaning the role offers genuine breadth and collaboration.
You’ll handle a varied commercial contracts caseload, including:
* Services supply contracts (including IT and technology arrangements)
* Sale and purchase of goods agreements
* Service level agreements
* Standard terms and conditions
* MOUs
* Collaboration, partnership and joint working agreements
* Intra-group/resource sharing arrangements
* Consultancy agreements
* NDAs and confidentiality agreements
The team also regularly advises on:
* Grant and donation agreements (acting for funders and recipients)
* Procurement and subsidy control matters
* Data sharing and processing agreements
* Basic IP matters including trade mark licences and assignments

This role would suit:
* A commercial contracts solicitor with a passion for the charities and social economy sector.
* An in-house commercial lawyer seeking a return to (or move into) private practice.
* Experience of charity sector clients, procurement, subsidy control or information governance would be advantageous but is not essential.
