As they continue to invest in long-term growth, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team and play a pivotal role in expanding their footprint across the UK.
Why this role?
If you’re an established BDM with a solid grounding in technical sales and a hunger to take your career to the next level, this is a brilliant opportunity. You’ll join a well-respected organisation where your commercial insight, relationship-building skills, and strategic thinking will make a real impact.
What you’ll be doing:
* Taking ownership of new business development across a specialist chemicals and refrigerants portfolio, targeting new clients and winning market share from competitors.
* Building a robust, sustainable pipeline by identifying emerging opportunities and tailoring solutions to client needs.
* Collaborating with technical, product, and marketing teams to deliver compelling proposals and drive campaigns.
* Leveraging market and competitor insight to guide your sales strategy and open doors into new sectors and regions.
* Representing the business with confidence and credibility at customer sites across the UK.
What we’re looking for:
* A commercially astute sales professional with at least 5 years’ experience in B2B sales or business development within chemicals, refrigerants, or a similar industrial/technical field.
* Proven success in winning new business and navigating complex sales cycles.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, backed by the ability to build lasting relationships with clients at all levels.
* Technically confident and able to understand and communicate product value propositions in a clear, solution-focused way.
* Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role.
What’s on offer:
Salary: £40,000-£44,000 base salary (dependent on experience)
Benefits: Company car or car allowance, performance-linked commission, paid annual leave including bank holidays, pension scheme, life assurance, and access to wellbeing perks.
Working set up: Remote based from home with required client visits throughout the UK.
