Being a Customer Service Advisor at Gear4music, you will play a crucial role in providing first-class service to our customers in the UK market.
Who You Are
You will be passionate about providing our customers with a good experience when they buy from us. Ideally you will have knowledge of musical instruments and/or products, but this can be in anything from playing the bass in a rock band to being a first violinist in an orchestra or being a part-time DJ. You will be professional, friendly and reliable.
What You Will Do
* Answering inbound calls (and a few emails) from customers
* Providing customers with friendly and professional advice on a wide range of musical instruments and related products
* Resolving challenging customer enquiries and escalating where appropriate
* Becoming a valued member of our specialist Customer Service team
What Your Skill Set May Look Like
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence and an exceptional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with customers
* Some experience of working in a customer service environment
* Computer literate to a high standard, with good Microsoft Office skills
* A good knowledge of musical instruments and equipment would be hugely beneficial
* Reliable and committed to providing first class advice and service
* Strong communication skills
* Ideally have an interest and appreciation of music
Things to Consider
The work hours will be 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working.
