We’re currently recruiting a Case Worker to join our Mental Health Floating Support Service in Milton Keynes.
About The Service
Our Mental Health Support team provides housing-related support to help people avoid homelessness, sustain their tenancy, and maintain independence.
The impact you will have
As a Case Worker, you’ll work alongside clients to identify the issues affecting their lives and mental health and support them to find practical solutions. This may include signposting or supporting access to services such as:
* Debt or benefits advice
* Physical or mental wellbeing support
* Addiction recovery services
* Education, training, or employment opportunities
* Community or social activities
A key part of the role is encouraging people to connect with their family, friends, and local networks, empowering them to develop life skills, build confidence, and strengthen resilience.
Contract details
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,666 - £27,981 per annum, pro rata, dependent on experience.
Location: Milton Keynes
Closing date: Friday 17th April
Interview: Week commencing 20th April
About You
You’ll have experience working with people who have enduring mental health needs, ideally using a trauma-informed/conscious approach.
Knowledge of housing and benefits would be an advantage, but we can provide training and support.
People might describe you as a good listener, supportive, or someone who goes the extra mile. If you’re empathetic, patient, and motivated to help people access the services they need, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll also need basic IT skills to record case notes and send emails, full training on our internal systems will be provided.
Because you’ll be supporting people across Milton Keynes, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
