Operational Support Grade Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Operational Support Grade to join our team at HMP Channings Wood Nights. As an OSG, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy prison. Your tasks will be varied and active, combining desk duties with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and walking to accompany vehicles across the prison grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the day-to-day running of the prison
* Manage security and searches at the gate
* Supervise visitors and monitor phone calls and CCTV
* Perform various administrative tasks
* Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Requirements:
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Physical fitness to perform tasks that involve lifting, carrying and walking
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekend and night shifts
* No qualifications required, but willingness to learn and develop is essential
